She’ll be right! was my attitude.
With a young family to feed and a new business to grow – I couldn’t have been more casual about my future.
But in 2004 I endured a serious health scare that changed my attitude, and my outlook on life. Confronted with fear and riddled with regret – why hadn’t I taken out trauma cover on myself?
I’m fortunate that my health is now back to normal, and through insuranceBASE, I’m lucky to now help others avoid the mistake I made.
With 14+ years in Insurance under my belt, and an understanding of the demands on busy business people – having owned and managed two retail businesses, I can help bring peace of mind to you, your family and business.
Personal Assistant / Sales Support
As a Mum of three, I know the joy and pressure that comes with raising a family – and the peace of mind that comes with having things sorted from an insurance perspective.
I’ve been at insuranceBASE for the past 9 years, as Personal Assistant to Jason and Admin/Office Manager, looking after our growing team. Your first point of contact for all enquiries, claims and ACC implementation – I’m here to help.
My role is to assist our Advisers in the ongoing management of our clients and their insurance requirements. I handle client reviews, policy alterations and general servicing.
With 28 years in banking and customer service roles, I take enormous pride in providing you with exceptional service.
I am also a Mum to twin girls, who keep me on my toes.
As the fifth child in the line of six children, family is super important. Growing up on a farm, I was taught to use my imagination and think outside the square to fight boredom.
So the past few years I’ve explored my passion for Art and Design, having studied Interior Design and Business Management & Technology. I have also been running a successful Nail business since 2015, where I can get to be very creative with my designs.
Besides spending lots of time with family and friends, I have my Siberian Husky Axel. He keeps me extremely active with his energy and we love enjoying adventures, mostly climbing mountains or taking hikes.
Since joining the team at insuranceBASE, my understanding and appreciation for making sure you look after yourself and family is a top priority. I am enjoying being a part of a family orientated team.
Having graduated in 2011, I achieved a Bachelor in Strategic Management from the University of Waikato and Babson College in Boston. I grew up in Nawton, Hamilton and was lucky enough to study and travel abroad in North & Central America, parts of Asia and parts of Europe.
Over the last 15 years I have been working in some sort of customer service role; whether it be in the hospitality industry or the Financial sector. Because of my experience and values, and the values of insuranceBASE, we put our valued customers and clients first. Not only that, I also put my analytical skills and creativity to use, to make a positive contribution to our client’s needs.
As a proud husband and father of 3 girls, we moved to New Zealand almost a decade ago from Israel to settle in Hamilton.
I hold a Bachelors Degree in Economics & Management and Masters in Law Studies. Over the last 20 years, I have worked in various industries including agriculture, hospitality and finance, both as an employee and a business owner.
I am actively involved in my girl’s local school PTA’s and enjoy taking the time watching their sporting pursuits. I am also involved with the Waikato Lacrosse Association committee.
I pride myself on being thorough, knowing the details and advising clients on the best products for their needs. I love dealing with people and have a range of clients from individuals, families to business owners.
I thoroughly enjoy my role as I find it rewarding helping bring awareness to those who may be paying too much or not realising they don’t have enough coverage to protect their family.
I have spent 22 years in the Financial Services Industry and more than 10 years in banking before that. I believe passionately in the difference our industry makes to peoples lives by helping them grow and protect their wealth
I am a wife, mum and business owner. In 1998 when Jeff my husband opted out of banking, we took the opportunity to go into business in the Financial Services Industry together. At the time, our children were 6, 4 & 2
Unfortunately, in November 2017 Jeff suffered a stroke and in June 2018, we made the decision to sell our business as Jeff is unable to return to work and the business was too big for me to manage.
I joined the InsuranceBASE team in February to follow my passion and am enjoying working with a great team again where the focus is on people.
